Cover Reveal: Rescue Mission: Secret Child (STEALTH: Shadow Team, Book 2)

I’m so excited to share with you my upcoming release! Coming this February, I’m proud to show you the cover of Rescue Mission: Secret Child. This is the second book in the Shadow Team Series. This is a new team within the STEALTH group, a military-contracting group that often finds themselves spread around the world fighting bad guys (but don’t worry, their hearts reside in Montana and the good guys usually win).

This series is one you are definitely going to love! I have been hanging out with Navy SEALs, former military contractors, Green Berets, DELTA force, CIA, and FBI task force leaders and asking every kind of question. I have to admit, even my gun skills have gotten a whole lot sharper since starting this series, too! Needless to say, if even half of my love or excitement for this special operations (and Special Forces) world hits the page, you will want to join me on my next round of adventures (or read ALL the books). :)

I’m not kidding when I say that all of these stories are well-researched and thought out, sometimes months ahead of pen ever striking paper. I like to think this attention to the subject and the stories shows in the little nuances and details that I have picked up along the way. And yes, some of the things that happen in these books are based on stories I’ve been told from team members.

There will be six books in this series and I have a feeling that each and every one of them will keep you on the edge of your seats and wondering…how much of this story is true?

There was nothing that Mike hated more than a wedding. It didn’t matter whose it was, the season, or the amount of love the happy couple professed to each other. He would still have rather ridden bareback on an angry bull than sit in some kind of mushy gushy feel fest.
Though, when push came to shove, it wasn’t the love part that he despised. Nah. He had just found there were two events in people’s lives that always brought out both the worst and the best from those around them—weddings and funerals.
The last nuptials he had attended had been so filled with poorly masked rancor, that by the time the open bar hit, things had turned to verbal tongue -lashings and two brawls. If he hadn’t interceded, he was sure a funeral would have soon followed. The last thing he had wanted was to attend two emotionally explosive events that close together.
He definitely would have preferred taking on the bull...
— Chapter One, Rescue Mission: Secret Child

Their only mission is to find him.

The moment his ex-fiancée tells him that he’s a father, military contractor Mike Spade is ready to make the commitment he’s always feared. Intelligence operative Summer Daniels is willing to give him another chance. Then their child is abducted. Mike and Summer both have enemies—and they both have unhealed hurts from their tempestuous romance. Can they overcome the past to save their son?
